David Wolowitz and Susan Schorr to Speak at NBOA's Business Officer Institute

McLane Middleton attorneys David Wolowitz and Susan E. Schorr will be presenting on “Independent Schools and the Evolving Standard of Care” at the National Business Officer Association’s (NBOA) Business Officer Institute on June 20, 2018 in Providence, R.I.

The presentation will focus on student safety and well-being, by explaining how the “standard of care” has changed for addressing bullying and cyber-bullying, sexual assault, mandated reporting, responsible use policies, and employee references.  Attorneys Wolowitz and Schorr will describe the steps schools should be taking to meet the standard of care, in order to minimize complaints and effectively address them when they do arise.
