MCLANE'S PETER ROTCH AND ROBERT WELLS NAMED MANCHESTER'S LAWYERS OF THE YEARNovember 23, 2009, Manchester, NH: McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton is proud to announce that two of its attorneys have been singled out by Best Lawyers®, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession, as being “Manchester’s Lawyers of the Year.” Peter B. Rotch has been named the Best Lawyers’ 2010 Manchester Real Estate Lawyer of the Year and Robert A. Wells has been named the Best Lawyers’ 2010 Manchester Trusts and Estates Lawyer of the Year, although Mr. Wells also practices out of the firm’s Concord office. After more than a quarter of a century in publication, Best Lawyers is now designating one “Lawyer of the Year” in high-profile legal specialties within the nation’s largest legal communities. Manchester is the only city in New Hampshire to have the distinction. Best Lawyers compiles its lists of outstanding attorneys by conducting exhaustive peer-review surveys in which thousands of leading lawyers confidentially evaluate their professional peers. First published in 1983, The Best Lawyers in America (2010), is based on more than 2.8 million detailed evaluations of lawyers by other lawyers. Thirty-two attorneys from McLane were named to this list earlier this year. Steven Naifeh, Managing Editor of Best Lawyers, says, “We continue to believe – as we have believed for more than 25 years – that recognition by one’s peers is the most meaningful form of praise in the legal profession.”
