For New Hampshire Employers: H-1B Visa Alert

January 24, 2008, Manchester, NH: Employers take notice! April 1, 2008 is the first (and possibly last) day to petition for H-1B "Specialty Workers" with a start date of October 1, 2008. Last year, all allotted H-1B visas were used up by the initial filing date. This means that any U.S. business seeking to employ a foreign national in a qualifying specialty occupation should be ready to file all necessary paperwork with the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services by March 31, 2008.
