Manchester, NH — The law offices of McLane, Graf, Raulerson and Middleton Professional Association are pleased to announce that Lynn R. Thompson, CLA is recipient of the President Award for Paralegal of the Year. The announcement was made at the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire (PANH) Annual Meeting in September. This Award is given annually to one paralegal who has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the advancement of the paralegal profession. Ms. Thompson, litigation paralegal at the firm since 1993, is involved in an extensive trial practice, including complex claims consisting of medical negligence, product liability, personal injury, environmental, and commercial litigation.

The Paralegal Association of New Hampshire was formed in the 1970’s as a vehicle for individuals in this evolving profession to exchange ideas, share experiences, and address concerns. The Association was incorporated in 1983. Today, meetings are held on a regular basis in Manchester, where the largest concentration of members is found. PANH has grown from a few individuals seeking to share information to a statewide network organization offering significant professional benefits to its members.

Ms. Thompson attended the American Bar Association approved Paralegal program at Rivier College where she earned her BS in Paralegal Studies. She attained her CLA (Certified Legal Assistant) designation in 1998 and is a member of the National Honor Society in Paralegal/Legal Assistant Studies, Lambda Epsilon Chi. Ms. Thompson is an active PANH member, having served on the Board of Directors from 1998 to 2001 and as President from 1999-2000. She is also a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) and the National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Inc.
