Mike has rejoined the firm in 2008 after more than 10 years serving as a business executive and inside general counsel to two New England-based companies. From 1996 to 2000, Mike was Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of WPI Group, Inc. (NASDAQ; WPIC), a Manchester, New Hampshire based provider of power conversion products, handheld computers and diagnostic tools for commercial vehicles. From 2000 to 2007, he was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary of Rock of Ages Corporation (NASDAQ Global; ROAC), an integrated quarrier, manufacturer and retailer of dimension stone blocks, granite memorials and precision granite products based in Barre, Vermont, where he was responsible for overseeing a broad range of legal and regulatory matters. He also provided advice on corporate development, strategic planning, and corporate governance. He continues to serve as general counsel to Rock of Ages. He practices in the Corporate Department with a focus on business transactions, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and business formation and counseling.
