Ralph is Co-Chair of the Litigation Department of New Hampshire's largest law firm, McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton. His expertise is in complex, challenging litigation and he has substantial experience handling medical malpractice, death and catastrophic injury claims, commercial disputes, trust and will contests, and other lawsuits. Ralph represents clients in New Hampshire and Massachusetts and practices before federal and state courts.

Representative Clients & Work

Ralph has participated as counsel in some of our firm's most significant and successful medical malpractice and personal injury cases. He is regarded as having also one of the most active Probate Court litigation practices, handling a wide variety of contested matters for and against administrators, executors, trustees, and other fiduciaries

Representative Medical Malpractice Law:

  • Obstetric and birth injuries due to a failure to diagnose or treat conditions leading to cerebral palsy, including fetal distress, gestational diabetes, uterine rupture, abnormal labor, chorioamnionitis, and meconium aspiration;
  • Failure to diagnose and/or treat cancer;
  • Failure to provide proper nursing care or supervision in a nursing home and hospital settings;
  • Failure to properly perform surgery and treat post-surgical infections;
  • Failure to diagnose and treat developing life threatening conditions, such as a heart attack, intestinal blockage, blood disorders, metabolic disease, or other disorders;
  • Failure to interpret correctly x-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other radiology studies;
  • Failure to properly perform joint replacement, arthroscopic, and other orthopedic surgeries;
  • Failure to interpret histology and other pathology studies; and
  • Cases involving other medical conditions and disciplines, including pathology, radiology, anesthesiology, and emergency medicine
