Susan Schorr Discusses Digital Accessibility in the Latest NOBA Net Assets Publication

McLane Middleton’s Susan Schorr, vice chair of the firm’s Education Law Practice Group, weighs in on the importance of access to technology in the September/October 2022 issue of NBOA’s NetAssets Magazine. According to Susan, “It is important for business officers to understand how laws affect an employee’s right to assistive technologies and other digital accommodations in the workplace…Often the right thing to do and the legal thing to do go hand in hand. If inclusion is important to your school, you will know that DEI is not just about racial or cultural inclusion – it’s also about considering the needs and experiences of people with disabilities.”
