McLane Middleton Welcomes Attorneys Amanda Brahm and Amanda Archambault

Portsmouth, NH. (August 7, 2025) – The law firm of McLane Middleton is pleased to announce the hiring of attorneys Amanda M. Brahm and Amanda K. Archambault.

Amanda Brahm joins McLane Middleton as an Of Counsel in the Education Law and Employment Practice Groups.  Amanda represents employers and educational institutions in legal matters related to students, employees, and school and workplace policies. Amanda’s work encompasses federal and state court litigation of employment discrimination claims, breach of contract issues, and claims arising under Title IX, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and federal and state family and medical leave acts. She has also successfully defended charges before administrative agencies, including the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights and Opportunities, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights. In addition, Amanda advises clients on a wide range of student and personnel-related issues. She develops sexual misconduct and non-discrimination policies and protocols to ensure consistent and balanced responses to incidents occurring in the workplace and in independent schools and institutions of higher education. Amanda delivers training on these issues and counsels schools and employers as they work through investigating and resolving reports of prohibited conduct. Amanda Archambault is an associate in the Employment Law and Education Law Practice Groups at McLane Middleton. She advises businesses, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions on a wide range of labor, employment, and education law matters. Her practice includes counseling clients on employee relations, leave law compliance (FMLA, PFML, ADA), performance management, workplace investigations, and terminations. Amanda also has experience advising independent schools on legal issues involving school operations, student conduct, family matters, and risk management. She routinely drafts and revises employment and school-related documents, including handbooks, contracts, policies, and compliance materials. In addition, she provides training on topics such as HR compliance, disability accommodations, maintaining appropriate boundaries, mandated reporting, and student and employee conduct policies.
