Amanda Archambault is an associate in the Employment Law and Education Law Practice Groups at McLane Middleton. She advises businesses, non-profit organizations, and educational institutions on a wide range of labor, employment, and education law matters.
Her practice includes counseling clients on employee relations, leave law compliance (FMLA, PFML, ADA), performance management, workplace investigations, and terminations. Amanda also has experience advising independent schools on legal issues involving school operations, student conduct, family matters, and risk management. She routinely drafts and revises employment and school-related documents, including handbooks, contracts, policies, and compliance materials. In addition, she provides training on topics such as HR compliance, disability accommodations, maintaining appropriate boundaries, mandated reporting, and student and employee conduct policies.
Amanda began practicing as an attorney at a boutique law firm specializing in education and employment law. Prior to that and during law school, she worked at McLane Middleton as a legal administrative assistant.
She earned her J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law and holds both an M.S. and a B.S. from Salem State University. While in law school, she competed in the NEBLSA and AAJ Trial Team Competitions, where she was a NEBLSA Semi-Finalist. She was also a finalist in the Massachusetts School of Law Summer Writing & Legal Competition.
