Charla Stevens and Adam Hamel to Present on Paid Family and Medical Leave

McLane Middleton attorneys Charla Bizios Stevens and Adam M. Hamel will be presenting on “Paid Family and Medical Leave Act: Financial and Legal Impacts” on September 24, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at The Derryfield Restaurant in Manchester, N.H.

The presentation, part of the CGI Business Solutions Seminar Series, is for Massachusetts employees or employers with at least one Massachusetts employee, who will likely have new responsibilities under the Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML) law. This event is intended to help attendees prepare for those responsibilities before the law’s effective date of Oct. 1, 2019.  This program will show attendees how to: understand the timeline and key dates for implementation of the new law; identify the classes of employees/contractors covered under the law; and recognize the employer’s responsibility to meet mandatory reporting requirements
