Manchester, N.H. (May 6, 2026) – The law firm of McLane Middleton is proud to announce that the firm has been named by Business NH Magazine and the NH Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives as New Hampshire’s business service provider of the year.
Since 1991, Business NH Magazine and the NH Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives have recognized businesses and business leaders who demonstrate exemplary leadership in their industries and communities regardless of what is going on in the economy. The 2026 winners, which include eight Business of the Year winners, a Nonprofit of the Year, as well as one Business Leader of the Year and two Nonprofit Leaders of the Year, join a distinguished list of businesses and leaders who strive for and achieve excellence, and who make giving back to their communities a priority.
McLane Middleton was chosen in part for its deep commitment to community service, which traces back to its founder, “Judge” McLane, whose vision helped establish the New Hampshire Children’s Aid Society, now known as Waypoint. Today, Waypoint is among New Hampshire’s most influential nonprofit organizations, serving more than 11,000 children and families each year. Currently, McLane Middleton attorneys and staff are involved with more than 100 local charitable organizations, many serving on boards of directors or in other leadership roles.
“I have always valued the firm’s rich history and its deep commitment to professional excellence and service to the community and the legal profession,” said Steve Camerino, the firm’s CEO. “I am grateful to work alongside such an outstanding group of colleagues. They make the firm an exceptional place to work.”
Over 107 years, McLane Middleton has grown into the largest full-service law firm in the state, with approximately 120 attorneys serving clients across practice areas ranging from corporate law and litigation to emerging areas such as privacy, data security and artificial intelligence.
Managing Director John Colucci said that consistency of purpose remains a defining advantage. “The firm’s emphasis on client service, professional excellence and playing a leadership role in the community and our profession resonates just as much in 2026 as it did in 1919,” he says. “We offer a breadth and sophistication of practice that rivals many large firms, while maintaining a collaborative approach that clients and our colleagues value.”
The award will be presented at a luncheon for each of the honorees in different categories on June 5, 2026 at the DoubleTree by Hilton Downtown Manchester Hotel.
