Colucci, Managing Partner, has been appointed to the Massachusetts Small Business Development Center (MSBDC) statewide Advisory Council, a newly established group of business, government, economic development, and community leaders helping guide the future of small business support across the Commonwealth.
The Advisory Council was established as part of the MSBDC’s five-year strategic plan, which is focused on strengthening the organization’s ability to help entrepreneurs build and grow sustainable businesses that drive economic growth and innovation across Massachusetts.
“This Advisory Council represents a real opportunity to bring together diverse perspectives from legal and financial to entrepreneurial and governmental in service of one goal, which is helping Massachusetts small businesses thrive,” said Colucci. “I’m looking forward to contributing my legal background to these conversations and working with fellow Council members to strengthen the state’s entrepreneurial ecosystem for years to come.”
The statewide Council brings together CEOs, entrepreneurs, professional service providers, economic development partners, government leaders, and other key stakeholders. Members will provide strategic insight into the opportunities and challenges facing Massachusetts small businesses, identify opportunities for collaboration and new programming, and help ensure MSBDC programs and services continue to evolve alongside the needs of the business community.
John is the firm’s first Massachusetts-based Managing Director in the firm’s 105-year history. He has a dual background as both an attorney and CPA. This unique skill set gives him a differentiating perspective and depth of understanding of the legal issues necessary for protecting a growing business, as well as the financial drivers of operating and sustaining a successful company.
