McLane’s Real Estate Department Also Top-Listed in New Hampshire

Breed as Concord’s Lawyer of the Year in Real Estate Law for 2013.

Alexandra’s current practice in real estate is concentrated largely on the ownership of real estate and its impact on estate planning – an area of law for which she was also listed in Best Lawyers this year. Alexandra counsels clients with regard to advanced wealth preservation and transfer techniques, the creation of trusts designed to hold and protect complex family properties, the use of conservation easements and charitable giving. She also focuses on estate planning using retirement benefits, business succession planning, and asset protection.
Formerly, Alexandra served as chair of the real estate department for a Laconia law firm where she represented developers and banks and handled all types of real estate, including complex commercial loan transactions, leases, workouts and mortgage foreclosures.
Alexandra is a member of the Real Property and Elder Law, Estate Planning and Probate Sections of the New Hampshire Bar Association and is a member of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council. She is also a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, (“ACTEC”).
In addition to this recognition by Best Lawyers in America®, she has been named to the list of “Top Attorneys in NH” by New Hampshire Magazine, New England Super Lawyers 2011.
She received her B.A. from Vassar College, her LL.M. from Boston University School of Law, her J.D. from Boston University School of Law.
