Attorney Cameron Shilling to Present on a Webinar for the New Hampshire Business Review

Cameron Shilling will present on a webinar entitled, “Privacy Law Adopted in New Hampshire: How Will Your Business Comply?” on Thursday, April 25 at 11:00 a.m. EST sponsored by the New Hampshire Business Review. New Hampshire has joined fourteen other states (and counting) and many prominent countries in adopting a comprehensive privacy law. Because the law takes effect January 1, 2025, businesses that have not already achieved compliance with other such privacy laws need to start preparing now to comply by the end of the year. Cam will explain the rights afforded to individuals and obligations imposed on businesses by this new privacy law, and present a practical and achievable strategy for your business to comply with it.

Cam Shilling is a director at McLane Middleton and chair of the firm’s Cybersecurity and Privacy Practice Group. Combining his business, technology and employment interests, Cameron has developed a depth and breadth of experience in privacy and data security. Within the data privacy part of his practice, Cameron’s background includes creating and implementing privacy policies, terms of use agreements, information use and social media policies, advising clients about workplace privacy, social media, and consumer privacy, and handling data privacy claims asserted against companies.
