Attorney Cameron G. Shilling was named to Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly’s 2026 list of Go To Cybersecurity/Data Privacy lawyers. This recognition showcases leaders in the Massachusetts legal community by practice area. Lawyers receiving this honor must be nominated by their colleagues in the industry, and then selected by a panel from Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. Cam also received this honor in 2024 and in 2022.
Cameron has been a Director at McLane Middleton since 2006, and he founded and chairs the firm’s Cybersecurity and Privacy Group. The group of six professionals have developed a breadth and depth of expertise superior to many firms with a national presence. Over 20 plus years of practicing in this area, Cam and his colleagues have provided cyber, privacy and AI risk management advice and incident response services to businesses, professional services firms, health care providers, financial institutions, schools, non-profits, and many other organizations throughout New England, along the East Coast, nationally, and even internationally. Cam is routinely featured as an expert in cyber, privacy and AI in regional and national media. In addition to being recognized as a Go To Cyber Lawyer in Massachusetts, Cam has received the Northeast Trailblazer Award from American Lawyer Association, and the Business in Excellence Award from the New Hampshire Business Review. Cam also served on the Advisory Board of the International Associate of Privacy Professionals.
