David Moynihan to Moderate Panel Discussion at REBA’s Spring Conference

McLane Law Firm is pleased to announce that attorney David K. Moynihan will moderate a panel discussion on Wireless Telecommunications and Real Estate at the Real Estate Bar Association’s (REBA) Spring Conference on May 5, 2015 in Norwell, Mass.
The session will provide an overview of the zoning and permitting of wireless facilities including towers, rooftop and stealth installations. The panel will also address wireless leasing (rooftops and raw land leases), including a discussion of important often‐negotiated lease provisions, lease buyouts and revenue stream sale transactions, and the evolution of small cells. In addition, panel members will discuss important issues relating to recent federal statutory and regulatory provisions and the interplay between federal law and local zoning ordinances. Attorneys who attend this session should come away with an understanding of important lease provisions required by carriers; the limits of local zoning by‐laws; and an understanding of the issues in balancing the interests of carriers, landlords and municipalities.
David is an Of Counsel attorney in the firm’s Real Estate, Corporate, and Construction Law Practice Groups. He focuses in all aspects of commercial and residential real estate ownership, development and finance, with an emphasis on land acquisition and disposition, leasing, title, and zoning matters.
