Gov. Hassan Appoints Charla Stevens as Chair of the Personnel Appeals Board

The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton Professional Association congratulates Charla Stevens on being appointed Chair of New Hampshire’s Personnel Appeals Board by Governor Maggie Hassan.

New Hampshire state law provides a process for classified employees to appeal a variety of employment decisions ranging from disciplinary action to position classification and reported conflicts of interest.  Appeals are heard by the NH Personnel Appeals Board, a qualified, independent panel appointed by the Governor and Council under the provisions of RSA 21-I:45.

Charla is the chair of McLane’s Employment Law Practice Group, and also practices in the Education and Health Care Practice Groups at the firm.  She is recognized in Woodward/White’s Best Lawyers in America for Labor Law – Management, is recognized in Chambers USA: A Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers in the Labor and Employment category, and is rated by Super Lawyers.  Charla also received the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire’s Above and Beyond Award in 2012 and the 2015 Granite State HR Hero Award from the Granite State Human Resources Conference.
