Jennifer Parent Receives Outstanding Alumni Service Award

McLane Middleton attorney Jennifer L. Parent was recently recognized with Suffolk University Law School’s Outstanding Alumni Service Award.

The award is given to alumnus/a who have made a significant contribution to the betterment of Suffolk University Law School.  In addition – the ways in which a candidate has served the Law School and its alumni; the number of years/decades the service has spanned; in what way the service has been truly outstanding; and how the service benefited the law school and university at large – are all criteria in selecting a recipient.

Jennifer is a director and chair of McLane Middleton’s Litigation Department.  She has over 20 years of experience litigating and resolving disputes for companies and business owners in a wide range of complex commercial cases and employment matters.  Jennifer is President of the National Conference of Bar Presidents and former President of both the New Hampshire Bar Association and New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association.  Throughout her career, she has been recognized with many awards, including the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Marilla M. Ricker Achievement award; the New Hampshire Business Review’s Outstanding Women in Business award; the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Judge Philip S. Hollman Gender Equality award; the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association’s Trailblazer in the Law award; and the Union Leader’s “Forty Under 40” award.  In addition, she is recognized in Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers New England, Chambers USA: A Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers, and is a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
