The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association is pleased to award its highest honor – the firm’s annual John A. Graf Client Service Award to Joel Emlen, an associate in the firm’s Litigation Department.
McLane’s Client Service Award, named in honor of former partner John A. Graf, is provided annually to the McLane attorney, paralegal, or staff member that exemplifies the highest level of client responsiveness and excellence in service based on colleague observation, peer reviews, and client recommendations and commendations.
Bruce Felmly, senior director in the firm’s Litigation Department, and head of the Client Service Committee, presented Joel with the award for his outstanding professionalism and dedication to exceeding even the most discriminating clients’ expectations.
Joel’s practice involves representing companies and individuals in a wide range of commercial disputes and tort cases, including contract, corporate governance, shareholder disputes, securities, trade secrets, employment matters and personal injury claims. He also advises owners, contractors and developers in all aspects of the construction process, including negotiation, arbitration and litigation of contract disputes and contract development.
Joel received his J.D. from Vermont Law School, summa cum laude in 2005 and B.A. from Illinois State University in 1997. Prior to attending law school, Joel sharpened his client service skills as an Account Manager at Technisource, Inc.
Joel is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. He is also a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, New Hampshire Association for Justice, Manchester Bar Association and American Bar Association.
Joel resides in Hopkinton, New Hampshire with his wife and family.
