Linda Johnson and Susan Schorr to Present on Tuition Refund Requests Due to Distance Learning

McLane Middleton attorneys Linda S. Johnson and Susan E. Schorr will be presenting at an upcoming Association of Independent Schools in New England (AISNE) webinar, “Tuition Refund Requests Due to Distance Learning” on April 8, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. ET.

This webinar will cover the legal and insurance side of these class actions and tuition refund demands as well as steps that schools can take to help mitigate the costly financial exposure to such claims while maintaining good and ongoing relationships with families.

The discussion will cover:

  • What clauses in enrollment agreements can help schools to better deal with tuition refund demands caused by campus closure.
  • The current class action climate and early results of the court claims.
  • What coverage there is under tuition refund insurance if any.
