McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton Professional Association is pleased to announce that Linda Johnson was one of three attorneys nationwide appointed to the Legal Advisory Board of The Association of Boarding Schools, (“TABS”) and Campus Outreach Services (“COS”) to assist the organizations in launching a program focused on independent schools and the law.
In announcing the appointments, TABS Executive Director Pete Upham referred to the attorneys as “three of the brightest lights in education law `representing` three firms `that` have worked to help hundreds of independent school clients navigate the complex and evolving web of national, state and local regulations. Simply put…`they` know the law and they know our schools.”
TABS is the public voice for college-preparatory boarding schools and the central resource for boarding school education, serving 300 boarding schools across the United States, Canada, and abroad.
Campus Outreach Services offers webinars and other resources on wellness and student risk issues to at more than 2000 schools and organizations in North America.
Linda is Co-Chair of McLane’s Education Law Group and outside general counsel to many of the country’s top independent schools. She also serves as a consultant and trainer to independent schools around the country on topics such as crisis response, maintaining appropriate boundaries with students, hazing, harassment, bullying and safe schools.
Linda recently presented at the first annual TABS and COS Law and Policy conference in working with and supporting transgender students.
