Linda Johnson to Present at 2017 NAIS Annual Conference

McLane Middleton attorney Linda S. Johnson will be presenting at the National Association of Independent Schools’ (NAIS) Annual Conference on March 1-3, 2017 in Baltimore, Md.

Linda will be presenting at the session entitled, “Evolving Expectations of School Responses to Student-on-Student Sexual Assaults.”

Linda focuses her practice on understanding and serving the needs of independent and boarding schools. She has over 30 years of experience litigating cases in state and federal agencies and courts, and in representing the interests of  independent schools in all aspects of operations. She serves as outside legal counsel and risk management consultant to many of the country’s top independent and boarding schools including the largest independent academy in the United States. She is recognized as a national authority on student and campus safety issues, risk management, crisis response, boundary awareness, employment law and independent school law issues. 

Linda also trains her clients on how to promote healthy relationships with students, how to recognize and address early signs of inappropriate behavior, and how to respond to allegations of misconduct.
