Linda Johnson to Speak at Building and Sustaining a Diverse Workforce Event

McLane Middleton attorney Linda S. Johnson will be speaking at the Diversity Workforce Coalition’s “Building and Sustaining a Diverse Workforce” event on March 14, 2019 in Manchester, N.H.

Linda’s presentation, “Diversity Report Card Case Study,” will review her firm’s self-assessment on its diversity and inclusion efforts to achieve greater workplace diversity and support of diversity in the greater community for its clients.

Linda is a director at McLane Middleton where she serves as chair of the firm’s Diversity and Inclusion Committee, as a member of the Management Committee and as Co-Chair of the Education Law Group.  Linda is also on the Board of the New Hampshire Diversity Workforce Coalition, the New Hampshire Women’s Foundation and the St. Anselm’s Center for Ethics in Business and Governance.  She is a former commissioner on the New Hampshire Commission on the Status of women and a longtime champion of civil rights.  Linda has worked throughout her career to assist companies and individuals to have a workplace free of harassment and discrimination.  Linda was the first woman officer of the New Hampshire Bar Association.  She has been selected as an Outstanding Business Woman of New Hampshire by N.H. Business Review, was awarded the Philip Holman Gender Equality Award, and was a recipient of the Jon Meyer Civil Rights Award and Marilla Ricker woman lawyer of the year award.  She is a past New Hampshire School Administrators Champion for Children award recipient.   She is AV rated by Martindale Hubbell, which is the highest rating for legal ethics and services.  She is listed in Woodward’s Best Lawyers in America for both employment and education law, in New England SuperLawyers, and in Chambers USA America’s Leading Lawyers in Business.  Linda was named “Lawyer of the Year” by Best Lawyers for Education 2018.
