McLane Attorney Jeanmarie Papelian Selected As Editor of Groundbreaking New Resource Guide on Divorce in New Hampshire

January 8, 2010, Manchester, NH:  The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association, with offices in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Concord, as well as Woburn, Massachusetts, is proud to announce that Jeanmarie Papelian was selected to serve as editor for the New Hampshire Divorce Practice and Procedure Guide, the first in a series of New-Hampshire practice manuals published by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education | New England™.

Several of Mclane’s leading attorneys contributed to the guide.   Dave DePuy authored a chapter on division of the marital estate; John Rich compiled a practical guide to the complex area of retirement assets; Charla Stevens contributed a chapter on health insurance; Margaret Kerouac wrote a chapter concerning child support; Beth Fowler covered tax considerations.  Lastly, Jeanmarie Papelian addressed both discovery and collaborative law.

The Guide was authored by 26 attorneys, all of whom are well known and respected by their peers.  “While the list of contributors reads like a ‘Who’s Who’ of New Hampshire’s leading divorce practitioners from across the state, my ability to tap into such a wide range of expertise right inside McLane made the job of pulling together such a comprehensive guide much easier,” Jeanmarie said.  “The guide is a ground-breaking resource in the range and depth of issues it covers, and will be a much welcomed, definitive resource for any family law practitioner” she added.

Under the direction of Hon. Edwin W. Kelly, administrative judge of the state’s Family Division courts, several of the Division’s marital masters provided commentary for the Guide on the Family Division’s perspective in various phases of family law cases.

With the Practical Guide to Divorce in New Hampshire now available, MCLE will now proceed to develop New Hampshire-specific titles in seven other core practice areas, including business organization, discovery, DWI, estate planning, evidence, probate, and residential real estate transactions and foreclosures.
