McLane Attorney John Weaver Named to Manchester Union Leader’s 40 Under Forty

The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, P.A., with offices in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Concord, is pleased to announce that John Weaver has been named to the Manchester Union Leader’s annual 40 Under Forty list for 2013.

Every year New Hampshire’s largest statewide newspaper identifies a list of forty individuals in the state, under forty years of age, whose actions are making a positive difference. John Weaver is one of a growing list of McLane attorneys on whom the honor has been bestowed since the program’s inception in 2001.

John is a member of the firm’s corporate and real estate departments. He has a diverse practice that focuses on land use, real estate, commercial lending, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, and education law. He brings a practical approach to helping businesses solve problems and address concerns in these areas. He has experience assisting clients with land use regulations, workouts, foreclosures, easements, contractual negotiations, and the interaction of state and federal law with local ordinances and requirements. He writes and speaks about issues related to education and the intersection between artificial intelligence and the law.

John also was the latest recipient of McLane’s Jack B, Middleton Pro Bono Legal Services award, having logged more than 145 hours on two pro bono cases in 2012.

In addition to his client service at McLane, John serves on the Board of Directors for Pro Portsmouth; he chairs the Government Affairs Committee for the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce; and he serves as a trustee for the Portsmouth Library. He is also an alumni admissions interviewer for Georgetown University, where he was an undergraduate. John received his J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law.
