Morse has recently been selected as a member of the 2013 Leadership Greater Manchester class.
Designed to recognize and nurture existing leadership talents from diverse sectors of the local community, Leadership Greater Manchester selects thirty-five professionals from among businesses, government, education, not-for-profit, arts, and religious and community groups to participate in the annual program.
As a member of McLane’s Corporate Department, Julie’s practice is focused on general corporate, securities, and immigration law. She advises clients on corporate law matters including mergers and acquisitions, private securities offerings, and general corporate governance and contract matters. Julie has experience representing clients in a broad range of securities law matters, including SEC regulation and investment adviser and broker dealer representation. As a member of McLane’s Immigration Law Practice Group, Julie assists businesses of all sizes, across many industries, with immigration matters. Julie’s immigration practice is focused on business and employment immigration. Julie has extensive experience assisting human resource departments of multinational corporations manage large portfolios of foreign employees assigned to work in the United States.
Julie received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, with a Business Law and Financial Services Concentration with Distinction in 2008, and her B.S. from Boston University School of Management in 2004. Before completing her legal studies, Julie worked for the New Hampshire Securities Bureau as a paralegal from 2006 to 2008, with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a legal intern in the Division of Enforcement, and with the United States Attorney’s Office, District of New Hampshire as a legal intern. Julie is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association.
