McLane Attorney Mark Wright Named 2014 Lexology Client Choice Award Winner for Trademark Work

and Chairman of the firm’s Intellectual Property Practice Group, has been recognized
with a Client Choice Award by Lexology.Lexology is an international legal intelligence service, and Mark was
singled out for his work in Intellectual Property Law, Trademarks. Mark is
admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts.

Established in 2005, the Client Choice Awards
recognize law firms and partners around the world that stand apart for their
excellent client service. The London-based organization considered thousands of
submissions and selected 251 individual winners from across 46 U.S. states.

Lexology and its partner, the International
Law Office, begins its research by asking corporate counsel subscribers to rate
individual lawyers and law firms on their quality of legal advice, value for
money, commercial awareness, effective communication, billing transparency,
tailored fee structures, response time, sharing of expertise and use of
technology. Once the research is completed, a list of candidates is compiled
and client references are submitted. The winners are selected after research
and follow-up interviews.

recognized leader in the intellectual property arena, Mark was one ofonly two attorneys who were selected from New
Hampshire for the prestigious award.He
is also listed in Best Lawyers in America, Boston’s Best Lawyers, New England
Super Lawyers, and Who’s Who Legal USA (Trademarks). Mark holds a Masters
degree in Intellectual Property and represents clients in a wide range of
industries for whom he provides counseling relative to their intellectual
property portfolios.

Mark’s practice consists of extensive
experience in international and domestic trademark clearance, registration,
proper use, licensing, acquisition and infringement matters, as well as
copyrights, domain names, e-commerce, rights of privacy and publicity, and
computer software and technology licensing.

He is a member of
the Intellectual Property Section of the New Hampshire and American Bar Associations and has
authored numerous articles relating to trademark, copyright and technology
issues. He also is a member and past Chairman of the Corporate, Business and
Banking Sections of the New Hampshire Bar Association. He serves as the
Chairman of the Zoning Board of Adjustment for the Town of Auburn andas a Trustee of Pinkerton Academy. Mark is a 1997-1998 graduate of Leadership Greater
Manchester and was also named to The Manchester Union Leader’s “40 Under Forty”
Business Leaders list in 2005.
