August 15, 2008, Manchester, NH – McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association is pleased to announce that Sarah B. Knowlton has been named to the Board of Directors of Breathe New Hampshire.
The state’s oldest nonprofit voluntary health agency, Breathe New Hampshire is committed to eliminating lung disease and improving the quality of life for those living with lung disease in New Hampshire.
As co-chair of McLane’s Health Care practice, Sarah represents health care providers and a variety of other corporate clients, including regulated utilities. She is also a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association�s Public Utility, Communications & Transportation Section, and the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association.
In addition to Breathe NH, Sarah also serves on the Advisory Board of Families First of the Greater Seacoast, after serving for six years on its Board of Directors.
Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She then went on to pursue her Masters in Social Work, graduating in 1987. She received her J.D. from Emory University School of Law in 1992. Upon graduation, she worked in the Office of the General Counsel for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia for five years.
Sarah currently teaches Health Care Law for New England College in the School of Graduate and Professional Studies. She is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Georgia.
She resides in Durham.
