McLane Director Wolowitz Designated By New Hampshire Supreme Court as Vice Chair of the Commission of the New Hampshire Lawyers Assistance Program

The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association, with offices in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Concord, New Hampshire, as well as Woburn, Massachusetts, is pleased to announce that director David Wolowitz was recently designated by the New Hampshire Supreme Court as Vice Chair of the Commission which oversees the New Hampshire Lawyer Assistance Program, (“NHLAP”).

The NHLAP was established by the New Hampshire Supreme Court to provide confidential, meaningful assistance to lawyers, judges, law students and their families in coping with alcoholism and other addictions, depression, and other personal or professional crises. David, a Senior Director and Co-Chair of the Education Law Practice Group, has a national practice representing, consulting and advising independent day and boarding schools on all aspects of risk management and governance. His clients include some of the most prominent private schools in the country. He also serves as an expert witness nationally on issues relating to policies and procedures to protect the well-being and safety of students.

Prior to joining the McLane firm in 1991, he served as the Managing Attorney for both the New Hampshire Legal Assistance and Public Defender Programs in Rockingham County.

David has been invited to serve as guest faculty for Harvard Law School’s Trial Advocacy Workshop annually since 1984. He has been recognized for 15 years in multiple categories in The Best Lawyers in America, and was selected “ Litigation – Labor & Employment “Lawyer of the Year” for 2013. From 2003 to the present, he has been listed in Chambers USA: A Guide to America’s Leading Lawyers (Litigation). He has earned an “AV Preeminent” Peer Review Rating by LexisNexis/Martindale-Hubbell for 10 years.

David received his A.B. from Washington University, his M.A. from Harvard University and his J.D. from the University of Michigan. He resides in Greenland, N.H. with his wife Susan.
