March 11, Portsmouth, NH: The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association, with offices in Manchester, Portsmouth, and Concord, is pleased to announce that director David Wolowitz was recently named a Commissioner with the Lawyer Assistance Program, a program established by the New Hampshire Supreme Court to provide immediate and continuing help to members of the legal profession, regardless of their status and law students who are affected by any physical or mental health condition that affects their ability to practice their profession, quality of life or study of law.
Mr. Wolowitz, a Senior Litigator practicing out of the firm’s Portsmouth Office, also advises businesses, schools, institutions, and families on risk avoidance and crisis management. He has a diverse practice which includes business, employment, education and probate matters and is recognized as a leading lawyer in matters involving mental health issues.
In his role as Commissioner, he will administer and provide advice regarding the management of the LAP.
Prior to joining the firm in 1991, he served as the Managing Attorney for both the New Hampshire Public Defender Program in Rockingham County and New Hampshire Legal Assistance in Portsmouth, NH.
He has been invited annually to teach in Harvard Law School’s Trial Advocacy Workshop since 1984, has been recognized in multiple categories from 1997 to the present in Best Lawyers in America® guide and named one of New Hampshire’s Leading Commercial Trial Lawyers from 2003 to the present in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Business Lawyers.
David received his A.B. from Washington University, his M.A. from Harvard University and his J.D. from the University of Michigan. He resides in Greenland.
