McLane Elects Andrea L. Daly as a Director and Shareholder

McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association is pleased to announce that Andrea L. Daly has been elected a director and shareholder of the firm.

Andrea, an attorney in the Portsmouth office, is a member of the firm’s Litigation Department. Her practice focuses on representation of a range of individuals and entities in probate actions, including guardianship proceedings, will challenges, and fiduciary duty matters. She has extensive experience in mental health matters, and has successfully defended numerous physicians, psychotherapists and licensed social workers who are the subject of complaints filed with licensing boards. Andrea’s mental health work includes civil lawsuits and risk management of licensed practitioners throughout the state.

She also has experience in a variety of personal injury and commercial litigation matters in New Hampshire and New York for nationally recognized corporations pertaining to claims of environmental contamination.

Andrea is admitted to practice in the state of New Hampshire, the United States District Court, District of New Hampshire, and the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, American Bar Association, New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association, and the Charles C. Doe Inns of Court.

Andrea received her J.D. from Vermont Law School, magna cum laude, in 1997, where she served as editor of the Vermont Law Review. She also served on the Board of Trustees from1995-1997. Andrea has continued to be active with the school since graduation, and was honored by the Vermont Law School Alumni Association for her contribution to the school in 1997.

For the past five years, Andrea has served on the board of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, a statewide, grassroots non-profit comprised of a network of affiliate chapters and support groups, staff and volunteers that provide information, education and support in order to improve the lives of all people affected by mental illness.

She currently lives in Portsmouth with her husband and children, and is active in her community.  Andrea is currently involved with the Seacoast Women’s Giving Circle, a volunteer organization committed to improving the quality of life in the region through collective giving and grassroots action.  She recently served on the board of Pro Portsmouth, Inc., a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to celebrating and sustaining the vitality of Portsmouth’s arts, culture and history through events and community collaboration.
