The McLane Law Firm is pleased to announce that Daniel J., Norris has been elected to the firm’s management committee.
Dan is the Chair of McLane’s Corporate Department and focuses his practice on merger and acquisition transactions, corporate finance transactions, and contracts, and general business representation. Dan has specific industry experience in manufacturing, insurance, in renewable energy, and independent schools.
Dan received his J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law (1995) and his B.A., with distinction from Purdue University (1992). He also was a Law Clerk for the New Hampshire Superior Court and he was an Intern with the Civil Bureau of the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office.
Dan is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New Hampshire, U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts. He is also a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, Business Law Section, Salem, (New Hampshire) Bar Association, and the American Bar Association, Business Law Section.
He is a graduate of Leadership New Hampshire, and was recognized by the Manchester Union Leader as one of its 40 Under Forty. In 2012, he received the Chairman’s Award from Granite United Way for his leadership within the Greater Salem area. Dan serves as President of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Salem, New Hampshire. He holds office of Advocate for the Bishop Peterson Counsel of the Knights of Columbus and is a Member of the New England Legal Foundation New Hampshire Advisory Committee. He also served as Chair on the Town of Salem, New Hampshire Charter Reform Committee, and as former Vice Chair of the Town of Salem, New Hampshire Zoning Board of Adjustment.
