The McLane Law Firm is pleased to announce that Ryan J. Swartz has been elected a director and shareholder of the firm.

Ryan advises individuals and families regarding various estate planning matters, including estate, gift, income and generation skipping transfer tax strategies. He advises fiduciaries in conservatorship, probate and trust administration matters. Ryan also counsels individuals and business owners regarding business succession planning and various asset protection techniques, including limited liability companies, asset protection trusts, and irrevocable Medicaid trusts.
“Entering law school, I knew I wanted to focus on estate planning,” said Ryan. “I appreciate the opportunity to guide clients through difficult and complex issues and to develop a plan that achieves the client’s estate planning goals,” he added.
Ryan completed a Judicial Clerkship with the Massachusetts Superior Court (2003-2004). He received his J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 2003 and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1999.
He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and Boston Estate Planning Council.
