PORTSMOUTH, NH — The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton Professional Association will be sponsoring a seminar, Challenges & Solutions in Employment Law, on Wednesday, October 1, hosted by MARKEM Corporation in Keene, New Hampshire. The public is invited to attend the seminar that will run from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at a cost of $75.00 per person. Registration is at 9:00 a.m. and a continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

McLane attorneys John Rich Jr., Lorne Fienberg, Jennifer Parent, Andrea Chatfield, Cheryl Deshaies and Cameron Shilling from the firm’s Employment Law Practice Group and John Round of IPG Employee Benefits Specialists will be presenters.

Critical developments in Employment Law have been seen over the last year, including new HIPPA privacy regulations, significant decisions impacting discrimination and family and medical leave law, and the overhaul of the Immigration and Naturalization Service. This seminar will address these important legal developments, as well as common and preventable errors under wage and hours laws. Specific topics will include: HIPAA and Cobra Law, Homeland Security, harassment and other discrimination issues, ADA/FMLA dealing with health conditions, as well as a wage and hour update.
