The McLane Law Firm is pleased to present John Weaver with the firm’s annual Client Service Award.
McLane’s Client Service Award is named in honor of John A. Graf, a partner in the firm who was relentlessly focused on solving his clients’ problem. The award is provided annually to the McLane attorney, paralegal, or staff member who exemplifies the highest level of client responsiveness and excellence in service based on colleague observation, peer reviews, and client recommendations and commendations.
Bruce Felmly, chair of McLane’s client service committee says, “John excels at truly taking the client’s legal problem and making it his own. He works very hard to keep the client and all members of the legal service team informed and strives to provide communications on important issues and projects at all hours of the day or night. The pace of much of the work that John does is very fast and he organizes it, explains it to the client and performs to achieve the result the client deserves. He brings that commitment to everything he does and energizes all those team members with whom he works. John’s dedication is very much in the spirit of our former colleague, John Graf, for whom the award is named.”
John is a member of the firm’s corporate and real estate departments. He has a diverse practice that focuses on land use, real estate, commercial lending, telecommunications, artificial intelligence, and education law. He brings a practical approach to helping businesses solve problems and address concerns in these areas. He has experience assisting clients with land use regulations, workouts, foreclosures, easements, contractual negotiations, and the interaction of state and federal law with local ordinances and requirements. John is the author of “Robots Are People Too: How Siri, Google Car, and Artificial Intelligence Will Force Us to Change Our Laws”, available on Amazon on November 30, 2013.
In addition to his client service at McLane, John serves on the Board of Directors for Pro Portsmouth; he chairs the Government Affairs Committee for the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce; and he serves as a trustee for the Portsmouth Library. He is also an alumni admissions interviewer for Georgetown University.
John is a resident of Portsmouth. He works out of the firm’s Manchester office and can be reached at (603) 628-1442 or john.weaver@mclane.com.
The firm congratulates John and thanks him for his outstanding service.
