McLane Middleton is pleased to announce the recipients of its 2025 annual awards, presented at the firm’s Colleague Recognition Reception. This event celebrates milestone service anniversaries and recognizes individuals whose contributions exemplify the firm’s commitment to pro bono service, client excellence, and meaningful community engagement across New England.
The 2025 award recipients are:
Catherine H. Hines – Jack B. Middleton Pro Bono Award
Traci MacKenzie – John A. Graf Client Service Award
Kristy Moore – John R. McLane Jr. Community Service Award
Catherine Hines, a member of the firm’s Tax Department, received the Pro Bono Award in recognition of her exceptional dedication to serving those in need. Through her work with 603 Legal Aid’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, Catherine has helped clients secure critical financial relief, recovering improperly withheld stimulus payments, resolving burdensome tax issues, and advocating for innocent spouses facing unfair liabilities. Her efforts have made a tangible difference, helping individuals maintain housing, meet essential needs, and regain peace of mind. Catherine approaches her work with empathy, professionalism, and a deep commitment to using her legal skills for the public good.
Traci MacKenzie, a member of the firm’s IT Department, was honored with the Client Service Award for her unwavering commitment to providing responsive, high-quality support. Her role underpins virtually every client interaction at the firm, and her impact is felt across all departments. Traci’s success is defined not only by her technical expertise, but also by her patience, approachability, and ability to instill confidence during high-pressure situations. She consistently goes above and beyond to resolve issues efficiently while treating every request with professionalism and care.
Kristy Moore, a legal administrative assistant at the firm, received the Community Service Award in recognition of her outstanding volunteer leadership and dedication to giving back. A committed volunteer with ROCA Kidz Club, Kristy helps foster an environment where every child feels supported, valued, and empowered to thrive. In addition to her work with ROCA, she plays an active role in supporting many of the firm’s community service initiatives, generously contributing her time and energy to causes that strengthen the communities McLane Middleton serves.
