The law firm of McLane Middleton, Professional Association is pleased to announce the hiring of attorney Amelia E. Bormann.
Amy is an of counsel attorney practicing in the Tax Department. She has over 24 years of experience advising businesses and individuals on a wide variety of complex federal and state tax issues, including corporate and partnership taxation, tax controversies, obtaining IRS and State rulings on tax issues, REITs, investment derivatives and transactions, and the employer mandate of the Affordable Care Act. Before joining McLane Middleton, Amy was counsel at WilmerHale in Boston and a member of its Tax Department for over 19 years.
Amy has an LL.M from Boston University School of Law in Tax Law, a J.D. from Northeastern University School of Law and a B.A. from Colgate University.
