McLane Middleton Hires Attorneys Jacqueline Botchman, Joseph Rojas, and Michael Strauss

The law firm of McLane Middleton, Professional Association is pleased to announce the hiring of attorneys Jacqueline A. Botchman, Joseph M. Rojas, and Michael E. Strauss.

Jacqueline is an associate in the litigation department where she assists clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, including commercial litigation.  She received her J.D. Magna Cum Laude from the University of New Hampshire School of Law (2017) and her B.A. Summa Cum Laude from the University of New Haven’s Honors Program (2014).  Jacqueline also received her certificate in Health Law and Policy.  During law school, Jacqueline was a member of the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program, a Simoneau Family Fellow, and a Bruce E. Friedman and Jeanie Jacobs Goldberg Scholarship Recipient.  Jacqueline is actively involved in pro bono work; while in law school, she worked on three New Hampshire Bar Association Domestic Violence Emergency Project (“Dove”) cases. Joseph is an associate in the corporate department where he advises business clients on a wide array of matters, including contract drafting, review, and negotiation, real estate transactions, commercial leasing matters, and mergers and acquisitions.  Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Joseph worked as in-house counsel for American Tower Corporation focusing on complex commercial negotiations and contract drafting with regional and national telecommunications companies, emerging technology ventures, the federal government, as well as state and local governments.  Joseph received his J.D. from Boston College Law School, his M.B.A. from Boston University School of Management, and his B.A., cum laude, from New York University.  After law school, Joseph served as a Graduate Fellow practicing with Boston College Law School’s Community Enterprise Clinic assisting entrepreneurs and volunteer organizations to incorporate business entities and apply for federal and state tax-exempt status.  Joseph is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York.  He resides in Cambridge and can be reached in the firm’s Woburn office at (781) 904-2721 or joseph.rojas@mclane.com.

Michael is an associate in the firm’s litigation department.  Prior to joining McLane Middleton, Michael worked in the New York City office of an international law firm, where he represented clients in the entertainment and media industry.  During his time in New York, Michael was a member of a team that negotiated a multi-billion dollar talent union collective bargaining agreement.  He also represented marketers and advertising agencies in their contract negotiations with celebrities and high-profile athletes as well as their advertising industry-related disputes.  Michael received his J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of New Hampshire School of Law, where he was the Chief Articles Editor of the UNH Law Review and a member of the Daniel Webster Scholars program.  Michael is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and New York.  He resides in Manchester and can be reached in the firm’s Manchester office at (603) 628-1442 or michael.strauss@mclane.com
