McLane Middleton Hires Attorneys Louis DeMato, Ed Vinhateiro and Audrey Young

The law firm of McLane Middleton, Professional Association is pleased to announce the hiring of attorneys Louis D. DeMato, Edward F. Vinhateiro and Audrey G. Young.

Lou is a business and transactional tax attorney representing clients in all aspects of their businesses and related transactions.  He has extensive experience advising on corporate, partnership, and tax issues arising in mergers and acquisitions, corporate divestitures, capital restructurings, ESOPs, financing, private equity, and structuring and negotiating commercial transactions.  Lou initially joined the firm in 2007 and most recently worked in the Mergers & Acquisitions tax practice in KPMG LLP’s Boston office before returning to McLane Middleton. Ed began his legal career as an attorney with the Nirenstein, Horowitz and Associates, P.C., and subsequently Sayer Regan Thayer & Flanagan, LLP, where he served as an estate planner designing trust based plans and administering decedent’s estates. He later joined Hunter Maclean Exley & Dunn, P.C., where he focused his practice on sophisticated planning for business and high net worth clients as well as tax planning and analysis for business and tax exempt transactions. Audrey is Of Counsel with McLane Middleton’s Trusts & Estates Department.  She concentrates her practice on estate planning, representing business owners, family offices and corporate fiduciaries.  She counsels business owners on tax, retirement and succession planning as well as trust and estate administration.  Audrey also works with foundations and other charitable organizations on tax and administration matters.  Audrey formerly worked as the Washington National Tax Director for private client services at an international accounting firm and at an AM 100 law firm.  Audrey is admitted to practice in Illinois.  She can be reached in the firm’s Woburn office at (781) 904-2721 or audrey.young@mclane.com.
