Tom joins the firm as an of counsel attorney in the firm’s administrative law department. He has over 30 years of experience in energy and public utility matters in New England, New York, Washington, D.C., and Canada, including a decade as Chairman of the New Hampshire Public Utilities Commission where he served as administrative head of the agency. In that role, he presided over Commission proceedings concerning electric, natural gas, telecommunications, and water utilities, as well as proceedings of the Site Evaluation Committee. In addition, he was President of the New England States Committee on Electricity (NESCOE), representing the New England Governors in regional electricity matters. Betsy is an attorney in the firm’s corporate department where she provides strategic legal advice to telecommunications, commercial real estate and financial services clients on zoning, land use, and environmental matters. She has more than two decades of private and public sector experience, ranging from representing private and government clients in federal, state and local permitting and enforcement proceedings, to assisting developers, property owners, and lenders in developing, negotiating and implementing cost-effective plans for contaminated site cleanup and redevelopment.
