The law firm of McLane Middleton, Professional Association is pleased to announce the hiring of attorney Luke C. Bean.
Luke is an associate in the Trusts and Estates Department. He concentrates his practice on estate planning matters by developing strategies to transfer wealth efficiently using planning techniques that defer or eliminate taxes and avoid or minimize probate proceedings while ensuring that assets pass according to his clients’ wishes. He also focuses on tax and administration aspects of trusts and estates, both assisting fiduciaries in fulfilling their obligations to beneficiaries and advising beneficiaries on their rights relative to their beneficial interests.
Additionally, Luke has experience in the areas of business succession planning, elder law, Medicaid planning, probate litigation, tax controversy, 501(c)(3) organizations and charitable gift planning.
Luke graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2009 with a degree in Economics, and is a graduate of Boston College Law School, Class of 2012, Magna Cum Laude, Order of the Coif. He also earned an LL.M. in Taxation at Boston University School of Law, graduating second in his class.
