May 19, 2008, Manchester, NH: The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton, Professional Association is proud to announce that the firm’s Executive Director, Michael J. McCluskey has been re-elected to serve as Chairman of the Board of the Manchester Development Corporation.
The mission of the organization is to promote the growth and prosperity of the City of Manchester; to encourage, support and engage and invest in the economic development of any projects and activities in the City of Manchester as may from time to time be director or approved by the Board of Mayor and Aldermen of the City of Manchester; and to encourage the welfare of local industries and promote the establishment of new industries in metropolitan Manchester.
The Manchester Development Corporation has been involved in several major redevelopment projects in downtown Manchester including the Verizon Wireless Arena, the corner of Bridge and Elm Street, and Hackett Hill, as well as remodeling several downtown buildings. In addition, at the request of the Aldermanic Board, has established economic development priorities, advocated for those priorities such as the development of the Jac Pac site, and provided funding for economic development promotional material.
