Michael Quinn and Mark Rouvalis to Speak at Upcoming NBI Teleconference

The law firm of McLane, Graf, Raulerson & Middleton Professional Association is pleased to announce that Directors Michael J. Quinn and Mark C. Rouvalis along with Michael Penney, Director of Engineering at GeoInsight, will be speaking at an upcoming National Business Institute (NBI) teleconference on June 10, 2015 called “The Attorney’s Guide to Stormwater Runoff Issues and Compliance.”

The program will focus on the EPA’s stringent stormwater programs and permitting processes that are required for new developments and local governments to decrease the environmental impact of stormwater runoff and pollution.

The session is geared towards attorneys who handle stormwater related issues.

Mike Quinn is a director whose practice focuses on environmental disputes, including litigation in state and federal courts, and administrative appeals.  In addition, he represents businesses and individuals in a broad array of environmental matters including Wetlands and Clean Water Act permitting, Superfund, hazardous and solid waste permitting and compliance. He has devoted particular attention to the wide variety of environmental regulatory and litigation issues associated with former manufactured gas plants.

Mark Rouvalis is a director in the firm’s litigation department who successfully resolves environmental and commercial disputes for his clients through trial, alternative dispute resolution, or negotiation.  Mark has obtained favorable verdicts and decisions for businesses and individuals in environmental and commercial cases before judges and juries in state and federal court, and before private arbitrators. His extensive experience in environmental litigation includes protecting clients from governmental claims both in court and in the regulatory context, as well as prosecuting or defending contamination claims between his clients and other private parties. Through his trial practice, Mark also assists his clients to obtain significant insurance recoveries for various pollution and business claims.
