Robert Wells and Joshua Weijer to present at an in person panel event entitled, “Truly Fundamentals of Estate Planning for NH Practitioners”

Attorneys Robert Wells and Joshua Weijer will present at an in person panel event on, “Truly Fundamentals of Estate Planning for NH Practitioners,” sponsored by the New Hampshire Bar Association on May 3, 2023.

This program will cover everything from the initial meeting, advance directives, wills, trusts, basic tax considerations, potential conflict assessments as well as Medicaid issues. Robert and Joshua will be joined on the panel by:

Robert is a director at McLane Middleton Professional Association in Manchester, NH where he is a member and past chair of the firm’s Trust and Estate Department. He earned his B.A. from DePauw University and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. In addition to the New Hampshire Bar, he is also a member of the New York and Missouri Bars, the American Bar Association and the U.S. Military Court of Appeals. Bob is a member and former chair of the NHBA’s Trust and Estate Section. He is a past member of the NHBA’s Ethics and Fee Dispute Resolution Committees and a past chair of the CLE Committee. He has been a member of the NHBA CLE Committee since 1990.  Bob is a fellow of the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel and was state chair from 2005 to 2009. Joshua R. Weijer is an associate in the Trusts & Estates Department of McLane Middleton Professional Association in Manchester, NH. He advises high net worth clients and various trust companies in a number of areas including estate planning, tax planning, fiduciary matters, and estate and trust administration. Josh received his B.A. from Union College and his J.D. from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law. While in law school he served as a senior editor of the school’s intellectual property law review and was a student clerk at the New Hampshire Complex Trust docket. He is admitted to practice in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Josh is a member of the NHBA’s Trust and Estate Law Section.
