Ryan Swartz to Present on Post-Election Planning Issues

McLane Middleton attorney Ryan J. Swartz will be presenting at an Essex County Estate Planning Council webinar, “Post-Election Estate Planning Issues | SECURE ACT” on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at 8:45 a.m. ET.

As a result of the Presidential election and the Georgia run-off elections, estate, gift and income tax reform is likely around the corner.  Clients who wish to engage in gifting strategies face significant uncertainty.  However, there are planning strategies available to mitigate the risk of adverse tax consequences in light of this uncertainty.  Join the Essex County Estate Planning Council on Thursday, Feb 25 as the presenters discuss post-election estate planning issues and retirement planning issues under the SECURE Act.

Ryan will be joined on the presentation by David G. Strachan, Jr. of Cambridge Trust Company.

Ryan advises individuals and families regarding various estate planning matters, including estate, gift, income and generation skipping transfer tax strategies. He advises fiduciaries in conservatorship, probate and trust administration matters. Ryan also counsels individuals and business owners regarding business succession planning and various asset protection techniques, including limited liability companies and asset protection trusts.  Ryan can be reached in the firm’s Woburn office at (781) 904-2712 or ryan.swartz@mclane.com.
