Shiva Karimi to Present at Immigration Law 2016

Attorney Shiva Karimi will be presenting at the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Immigration Law 2016 on May 19, 2016 in Concord, N.H.

This program is for any attorney who practices in the areas of business, employment, family, or criminal law. A practitioner cannot adequately represent a client without some knowledge of how Immigration Law affects the representation. Further, Immigration Law is, and will continue to be, a hot button issue in the Presidential election.

The program faculty consists of knowledgeable and experienced NH attorneys, and most likely, a representative of the Department of Homeland Security.

Topics to be covered include: Employment based non-immigrant visas, permanent resident visas, family based visas, consular processing, visa waivers, immigration consequences of criminal convictions, worksite enforcement of immigration laws, and ethical issues.

Shiva’s practice focuses on immigration law. She advises clients on a broad range of immigration matters including business and family immigration, federal immigration litigation and naturalization. Her clients range from multi-national corporations to start-up high technology companies, independent schools, and individual foreign nationals.

Shiva can be reached in McLane Middleton’s Woburn office at (781) 904-2690 or shiva.karimi@mclane.com.
