On behalf of the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire, Vicki A. Samuels spoke to students of the Legal Research and Writing Class at Middlesex Community College’s Lowell Campus on October 27, 2016.
The purpose of the event was to meet with current students in order to provide information and answer questions regarding the career of a paralegal. Some of the topics discussed during the meeting were:
- Summary of job responsibilities and challenges, as well as an example of a typical day.
- Role in working with clients, accountants and other individuals on a file.
- The importance of networking within the legal field and paralegal associations.
Vicki is a Certified Paralegal with McLane Middleton’s Trust and Estate Department. She assists attorneys and clients in a variety of matters with an emphasis in trust administration and funding, probate administration and related estate tax returns. Vicki currently serves as Treasurer and Director of the Paralegal Association of New Hampshire. She is a member of the National Association of Legal Assistants, National Federation of Paralegal Associations, Paralegal Association of New Hampshire and Massachusetts Paralegal Association.
