Aastha is a corporate transactional attorney with extensive experience representing small to mid-size private businesses in complex, multi-million-dollar M&A transactions, including both asset and stock purchases. As part of her practice, Aastha serves as outside general counsel to private companies, advising on entity selection and formation, corporate governance, and the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts.

Aastha represents entrepreneurs and start-ups, providing counsel on investor financings, equity ownership structures, and executive and employee compensation matters. She also has significant experience assisting banks and borrowers with commercial lending transactions.

Aastha began her legal career in India at a boutique financial law firm serving sophisticated banking institutions. Before joining McLane Middleton, she practiced as a corporate attorney with a well-established firm in Worcester, Massachusetts.

Aastha holds an LL.M. with a concentration in business and commercial law from Boston College Law School and a B.L.S., LL.B. from Government Law College, Mumbai.
