Adela is an attorney in McLane’s Real Estate Practice Group, representing buyers, sellers, borrowers, lenders, developers, landlords, and tenants in a broad range of commercial and residential transactions throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire. Her practice encompasses complex acquisitions and dispositions, financing, development, land use and permitting, leasing, and corporate structuring and compliance. She regularly advises clients on transaction strategy, due diligence, title and permitting risk allocation, and deal execution across all asset classes.

Prior to joining McLane, Adela served as in-house counsel for a Boston-based commercial real estate development company. Additionally, she brings entrepreneurial, construction, and brokerage expertise—holding licenses as a general contractor and real estate broker—and has led the acquisition and repositioning of single to multi-tenant residential properties in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

This combination of legal and business experience enables Adela to provide pragmatic, value-driven counsel on issues involving construction, financing, permitting, and development. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to bridge the gap between legal, business, and operational priorities and to deliver clear, commercially grounded guidance aligned with the realities of the real estate market.

Adela earned her J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School (Evening Division) and her Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Politics from Brandeis University.
