Ryan is a Director at McLane Middleton and the Chair of the firm’s Trusts and Estates Department.  He advises individuals, families, and business owners regarding various estate planning matters, including estate, gift, income and generation skipping transfer tax strategies, while addressing complex personal and business objectives.  He advises fiduciaries in probate, estate, and trust administration matters and serves as Trustee of trusts.  Ryan brings significant experience in estate and gift tax analysis and post-mortem tax planning.  Known for his practical and thoughtful approach, Ryan works closely with clients and their advisors to translate intricate tax and fiduciary concepts into clear, actionable strategies.

Ryan completed a Judicial Clerkship with the Massachusetts Superior Court (2003-2004). He received his J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School (2003) and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst (1999).
